This
statewide
project is designed to provide inservice training, technical assistance, and
consultation to educators and related personnel serving students with ABI/TBI
throughout the state of Kansas. The
project also serves as a resource for families of students with ABI/TBI. This includes hospital to school
re-entry planning, educational programming, and ongoing monitoring of student progress.
Educators, families, and medical personnel have utilized this project to
obtain information and technical assistance for students with
ABI/TBI.
The Traumatic Brain Injury Project is part of the
Neurologic
Disabilities Support
Project which is sponsored by the Kansas
Statewide Technical Assistance Resource System (K-STARS) and funded by the Kansas State Department of
Education Student Support Services.
