Welcome!

The NDSP Library is a component of the Neurologic Disabilities Support Project (NDSP) which is sponsored by the Kansas Statewide Technical Assistance Resource System (K-STARS) and funded by the Kansas State Department of Education Student Support Services.  This statewide project is designed to serve parents, educators, and related service personnel throughout the state of Kansas.  

The library offers a variety of resources for all ages and education levels on such topics as: Acquired/Traumatic Brain Injury, AD/HD, Autism and other neurologic disorders.

Who has access to the resources?  

Kansas residents or any person providing services for Kansas students with neurologic disabilities may access the resource library, including: 

Teachers School Psychologists Speech Pathologists
Parents Social Workers Physical Therapists
Family Members Administrators Occupational Therapists

 How do I check out materials?

Materials are loaned free of charge and are available for checkout in one of the following ways:

How many items can I check out?

You may check out up to three items at a time and keep them for a period of three weeks.  Selections may be renewed by phone or email, as long as there is no waiting list for an item.

How do I return materials?

Return envelopes are included when items are mailed and patrons are required to pay return postage.  The library uses the Media Mail rate which generally ranges from $2.00 to $5.00 depending on the weight of the package. Patrons may also return materials in person.

What if I lose a resource?

The patron will be responsible for the replacement cost of any lost or damaged items.
